well this is sandy+ i just logged on and made it to the "blog" and am happy to be on my way to a bit more computer literacy! i hope you are all doing well and getting ready for the holiday (holy days!) and it is a hectic time of year. hope you can remember that christ is at the center of it all and can help with rest and reconciliation of the busy demands. please take the time to just sit with your lord without any demands or fuss. it does make a difference. i would love to teach a bit about this if anyone is interested. i have been a meditator for over 30 years and it can/does make a difference and it is easy. i am an extrovert and a busy person and yet somehow this time makes it all easier.
thanksgiving is a day i hope you will consider coming over at 3:00 if you are not engaged with family or traveling etc... so far we have about 11 i know of and counting. i want to do the turkeys and mashed potatoes and you can bring whatever you like to share.....your favorites! it would be good for me to have a rough idea of how many. casual is the name of the day and bring a friend if you wish. if you are so inclined! there is a eucharist at 10:45. i live in hyde park behind the hyde park gym and new world deli on ave a #4102. telephone 220-9592 or the church 476-3589.
